Can I pick up my boyfriend's package?

My boyfriend currently has a PO box and he ordered a package. Since the package is too big to fit into his PO box I know that it would have to be picked up at the counter. He will be unable to pick up the package himself, so will I be able to? We live together so my ID has the same address as his, but since it's addressed to a PO box, would they still be able to tell? Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for the help!

I believe as long as you have the ticket they'll release to you call them make sure
