I work minimum wage at a movie theater. Often times, it can be a stressful work environment primarily for customers. Normally if a customer is outraged at me, I understand I can't get angry back - customer service and all that. But what if they physically harm, or even threaten me? What actions can I possibly take against that?

I have been to 100s, probably 1000s of movies. I have never seen a movie theater as a stressful place for customers or employees. Maybe it is your neighborhood or your specific location.

- you pay money, you might have to wait in an orderly line, you find a seat, you watch a movie... Nothing about it is stressful.

This is why lesbians and gay men are looked down on by straight people. Just wait until either some guy catches him outside and beats the hell out of him, or he is reported to his supervisor or the owner.

Whip put your camera and take their picture. Then you have some record if you decide to file a police report.

call the police and report a altercation to them. Do it while the person is still in the theater.

you could tell your manager about the costumer and check cctv, if he physically harmed you you will definetely need to get the police injured
